Near Best of All there are these 2000 year old trees, remnants of Gondwanaland. Gnarly roots!
I went to a lookout near Springbrook called "Best of All". It's on the border of Queensland and NSW, on the rim of a vast caldera. When I arrived, the ground fog was just clearing in the basin. I also saw a ton of bandicoots, parrots, and other birds I need to look up.
